fantastic Mr fox

FANTASTIC MR FOX: MOVIE REVIEW
On a hill above the valley there was a wood. In the wood there was a huge tree. Under tree there was a hole, were inside lived Mr, Mrs Fox and their four small foxes. They were located near the three farms. The main characters on this novel are, Mr fox, Mrs fox, farm Boggies, farm Bunce, farmer Bean, Badger and four foxes. In order to feed his family, he used to steal from the cruel, brutish farmers named, Boggis, Bunce and bean every night. Finally tired of being continuously tricked by Mr Fox. The farmers attempt to capture and kill him. The foxes escape in time by excavating deep into the ground. The farmers decided to wait outside the hole for the foxes to appear. Unable to leave the hole, fox and his family begin to starve. As clever he is he compose plan to steal food from farmers. He did that by tunneling into ground leading into farmer’s houses. Along this race he then met with his fellow species (badgers, weasels,  rats, moles, rabbits. worked together and steal from the three farmers and they all lived together  happily as big family inside the tunnel. Three farmers were still waiting and armed outside the hole for them to emerge.

BOOK V.S MOVIE
The book and the movie reveal different stories. The movie starts at a moment in time before Dahl’s book with Mr and Mrs Fox. But they are domesticated upon learning that they are going to have a child. Also that later on, the book states that Mr and Mrs Fox had four children while in the movie they had one son and the character of Kristofferson was introduced as ash`s cousin. In the movie, Mr Fox was a newspaper man before he broke his promises to his wife, but the book just shows him as the trickiest and smart man who steals to provide for his family. The book has parts of terrible shovels and tractors, while the movie shows only the part of terrible tractors. The ending of the book and movie are different, in particular the movie was not effective of the book and also did not present an accurate interpretation of Dahl’s classic since they both display different stories. Movie reveals it all while the book does not reveal all.

RECOMMENDATIONS

I did enjoy the movie, excluding the fact that the movie has the stop motion animation; it is quiet an interesting film. The most part that I enjoyed was when Kristofferson was defending ash from badger’s son. He intentionally beat him. Though Ash pretended to have it all under control. I would recommend this movie to adults because the movie features a lot of scheming, violence and strong words. It will only make children to think that it is okay to steal from other people .
